The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is a good option if you're looking to buy a mid-priced mop and robot vacuum. It's a great mopping capability, but it lacks some of the advanced features that are found in its more expensive counterpart.

In tests, it was able to tackle dry oats and dust on medium-pile carpet and pet hair on hard floors. But, unlike cheaper models, it doesn't use LIDAR to help you map your home.

This robot vacuum performs well both on bare floors and carpets with low pile. It can pick up pet hair and clean large items up. It doesn't lose suction as fast as some other robot vacuums. It has a difficult time with plush or high-pile carpets, but iRobot claims that future models will be better.

The S9+ is a new design from iRobot that concentrates on improving corner and edge cleaning. It's the first Roomba that uses a flat-fronted D-shaped design. The robo-vac is also very efficient and was among the top performers in my tests, picking up debris from both carpets and hardwood floors in the first attempt. It can also vacuum up wet spills but I would suggest cleaning them off using a clean cloth before bringing the robot into.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni has all of the features you'd expect from a high-end robot vacuum and mop and more. Similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+, it is a top-quality vacuum with a powerful suction that cleans hard and carpet floors, and an omni-rotating mop that scrubs tough stains. It also has a self-cleaning base station that automatically empty and cleans mop pads, keeping them germ-free and ready for use again. It also has a sensor system that detects obstacles more accurately which allows it to avoid falling on furniture or other objects.

The most notable improvement over the ECOVACS the X1 Deebot is its sleeker, modern design. This is due to Danish company Jacob Jensen Design, best known for their Bang & Olufsen product line.
